How we look after players 24/7 — residential living, daily structure and everything in between.
Apply Now →Sending a young person aged 14–17 to live and learn in another country is a significant decision for any family. At Global Football Exchange, we understand the importance of helping participants and their parents prepare for life in Germany. The program focuses on German-language learning and cultural exchange, with opportunities to experience local football as a secondary part of the journey.
Before the program begins, families receive information about the arrangements for accommodation, supervision, meals, transportation, communication, and emergency support, as applicable to their program. Our goal is to help parents and participants understand what to expect, know whom to contact, and feel prepared for the experience.

Players live in secure, supervised dormitory accommodation with dedicated residential staff present around the clock. No exceptions. Staff are trained in youth welfare and first response.
Full nutritional support aligned with athletic training demands. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided daily. Players are fuelled correctly for morning sessions and afternoon training.
Families receive updates on player progress, wellbeing, and daily life. Our player liaison maintains an open channel with parents throughout, no question goes unanswered.
A dedicated performance specialist supports players in navigating the emotional demands of living abroad, competing under pressure, and building resilience.
Structured reflection, goal-setting, and individual development conversations help grow our players. Many alumni cite this as one of the most valuable parts of the program.
GFE maintains documented emergency protocols for all scenarios. Parents are briefed on these during onboarding. A 24/7 contact point is available to families for any urgent situation.
Every day is built around maximizing development time while maintaining the structure young players need to perform and grow. There is no dead time, only purposeful activity.
